Armenian school students will be having a two-week long winter break starting December 28, the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports reported.
YEREVAN, December 21. /ARKA/. Armenian school students will be having a two-week long winter break starting December 28, the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports reported.
It said the winter school holidays for first graders will last from December 28, 2020 to January 24, 2021, for second graders - from December 28, 2020 to January 17, 2021 inclusive.
The Ministry emphasized also that in the event of insurmountable circumstances such as unfavorable weather conditions, the spread of acute viral diseases, natural disasters, etc., a school can organize distance learning to ensure its duration.
In the event of such insurmountable circumstances, the Ministry can extend the holidays with the replenishment of the missed hours until the end of the school year.
The ministry also informed that at private educational institutions, the duration and timing of vacations, as well as changes in them are determined by the founder, who must notify the ministry about this within 5 working days. -0-
