YEREVAN, August 31. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will take a short vacation from August 31 to September 3, the press service of the prime minister reported. 

It said Pashinyan will spend his vacation in Armenia. 

During this period, Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan will replace Pashinyan. -0-

As per the latest figures, the population of Armenia on January 1, 2026, stood at 3,097,000, an increase from 3,076,200 on January 1, 2025. This information comes from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

The urban population in Armenia reached 1,980,900, with Yerevan accounting for 1,147,600 of those urban residents. Meanwhile, the rural population was recorded at 1,161,100.
