Armenian parliament criminalizes transmission of knowingly false information to notaries
YEREVAN, September 13./ARKA/ Armenia's National Assembly has approved today in the second and final reading a set of amendments to the Criminal Code, which criminalize transmission of knowingly false information to notaries.

According to Taron Simonyan, a parliament member from the Bright Armenia party, the changes were prompted by complaints of heads of notary offices  about frequented transmission of knowingly false information, which not only leads to increased distrust in this institution, but is also fraught with serious legal problems. -0-
