YEREVAN, November 15. /ARKA/. The Armenian National Security Service (NSS) said today it has uncovered another case of treason.

According to a NSS statement, an Armenian citizen, identified as E.A., called up by the Defense Ministry for a three-month training camp in August-November 2021, got access to information containing state and official secrets, and was recruited via Facebook by a foreign secret service employee.

E.A. used WhatsApp application on his cell phone to transmit information about the combat position entrusted to him, its specific location, the number of guards, weapons to a representative of the secret service. In exchange, he received nude photos of his alleged interlocutor.

E.A. was detained as part of a criminal case opened by the Investigative Department of the National Security Service. -0-
