YEREVAN, March 9. /ARKA/. The Armenian Helicopters LLC was exempted today by the government from paying customs duty on import of a helicopter worth AMD 1, 27 bln.

The company plans to use the helicopter to expand activities in fire-rescue, agricultural, firefighting and mapping services, as well as in passenger transportation and tourism.

It will create two new jobs with average monthly salary of 550-600 thousand drams. The amount exempted from customs duty is estimated at AMD 127 million.

Armenian Helicopters LLC is Armenia's first commercial helicopter operator. The company was established in 2017. It is based at Yerevan's Zvartnots airport. ($1 - 388.49 AMD). --0--
