Armenian government allocates AMD 757mln for subvention projects in regions
YEREVAN, August 18. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has approved today the release of another 757 million drams as co-financing for a string of subvention projects implemented in provinces.
Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Minister Gnel Sanosyan noted that the subvention projects had already been implemented and by this decision the government has only fulfilled its co-financing committment.
According to him, 12 projects in total have been implemented in 15 communities and 3 more are in the process.
The province of Tavush has received 276 million drams, Gegharkunik - 220 million drams, Lori - 112 million drams, Ararat - 67 million drams, Armavir - 47 million drams, Syunik - 17 million drams, Shirak - 13 million drams, and Aragatsotn - 2.4 million drams.
Overall, since the beginning of the year the government has allocated 8.065 billion drams for this purpose. Funding is used to repair and construct roads, water pipes, kindergartens and other community facilities, such as street lighting. ($1 - 405.96 drams). --0--
