Stepantsminda-Lars, the only road connecting Armenia with Russia, is open for passenger cars with tire chains, but closed for cargo-carrying vehicles, the Armenian emergency ministry reported Friday referring to the emergency department of Georgia’s interior ministry.

Roads in Armenia are passable, though 26-35 kilometers of Sotk-Karbachar section as well as Ijevan-Dilijan and Ijevan-Noyemberyan roads are partly covered by black ice.
Fog embraced the first 17 kilometers of Yerevan-Sevan road, Goris-Kapan section as well as Ashtarak,
Aragatsotn province, and Yeghvard, Kotayk province.
Snow is falling in Lori, excluding Spitak, and Ijevan, Tavush province. --0---
