Armenian citizens eligible to vote will be able to temporarily change their registration address ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections, the Central Election Commission of Armenia (CEC) announced.
YEREVAN, February 23. /ARKA/. Armenian citizens eligible to vote will be able to temporarily change their registration address ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections, the Central Election Commission of Armenia (CEC) announced.
"Until 26 May, at 2:00 PM, citizens can apply to the Department of Migration and Citizenship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to be temporarily removed from the voter list at their place of registration and included in the voter list at their place of residence," the statement reads.
The CEC added that the application can be submitted electronically or on paper. "Electronic applications are confirmed by an electronic digital signature. When submitting an application on behalf of another person, a notarized power of attorney must be provided," the CEC stated.
The commission reminded that citizens of Armenia who have reached the age of 18 have the right to participate in the National Assembly elections.
The next parliamentary elections will be held in Armenia on June 7, 2026.
