YEREVAN, August 6. /ARKA/. The permanent population of Armenia, based on the 2022 census and current records, was 3,057,800 as of July 1, 2024, up from 2,945,500 on the same date in 2023, the National Statistical Committee reported on Tuesday.

The urban population stands at 1,973,400, with Yerevan housing 1,134,000 residents. Armenia’s rural population stands at 1,084,400.
