YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. Armenia's permanent population on October 1, 2024, stood at 3,067, 400 people, up from 2,954,700 in October 2023, according to the National Statistical Service.

The numbers are calculated based on the 2022 census. The urban population stood at 1,976,000 residents, with 1,092,900 in the capital Yerevan.

In rural areas, the population stood at 1,091,400 people.-0-
