YEREVAN, December 24. /ARKA/. During a government meeting on Thursday Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan summarized the results of the reconstruction and assistance programs designed for Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
He said under one of the programs the government had released 6.4 billion drams to provide assistance to 87,000 citizens registered in Artsakh.
Another program of assistance was designed for the residents of communities who lived in the territories not controlled by Artsakh. Within the framework of the program, 600 million drams were allocated to over 2 thousand beneficiaries.
He said the government had also released 940 million drams to the government of Artsakh to pay pensions and allowances for December and another 3.1 billion drams to pay salaries to civil servants.
He noted that over the past three months, about one billion drams were allocated for gratuitous compensation for utility payments in Artsakh.
“All these decisions are included in the roadmap I presented on November 18th. In addition, the government has approved 8 more measures which are in the process. Reports will be presented shortly. It is our duty, and we do not consider it necessary to talk a lot about them, but attempts are being made to create the impression that we left Artsakh alone with its problems,” Pashinyan said. -0-
