YEREVAN, March 26. /ARKA/. The first Armenia-EU summit will be held in Yerevan on May 4-5, 2026, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.

At the summit, Armenia will be represented by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and the European Union will be represented by European Council President António Costa, along with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

Ahead of the summit, Costa and von der Leyen will also participate in the eighth European Political Community Summit, which will take place on May 4 in Yerevan.

The Foreign Ministry reported that the summit will focus on strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the areas of economics, energy, transport, digital technologies, and people-to-people contacts. The leaders will also discuss progress in ensuring peace, security, connectivity and prosperity in the South Caucasus, as well as current global challenges.
