"We are interested in continuing to develop our bilateral relations. Contacts are planned for the near future," Safaryan noted at a briefing on Wednesday.
The Deputy Minister also said that further information about upcoming meetings will be provided, adding that they will definitely take place.
Responding to a question about possible problems within the EAEU amid Armenia's course toward rapprochement with the EU, the Deputy Foreign Minister noted that Yerevan currently sees no problems within the Eurasian Economic Union.
Referring to the statement of the EAEU leaders of May 29, which was conveyed to the Armenian side, Safaryan said that Yerevan has taken note of it.
"We will address this issue at the next EAEU meetings," he said, referring to the December deadline set by EAEU leaders for Armenia's continued membership in the union.
