U.S. State Department unveils priorities Senior Adviser for Caucasus Negotiations discussed in Yerevan
YEREVAN, September 15. /ARKA/. U.S. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller unveiled the priorities, which the U.S. State Department's Senior Adviser for Caucasus Negotiations, U.S. OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Luis Bono discussed during his visit to Yerevan earlier this week.
"He continues to address both the short-term priority, which is the opening of the Lachin corridor, and of course our long-term priority. We really want this to happen as soon as possible, that is, to reach a peaceful solution to the whole issue," Miller said at a press briefing on Thursday.
Bono was received in Armenia by Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan to discuss the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh, the humanitarian crisis there and the efforts to overcome it, as well as the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. -0-
