U.S. senior advisor for Caucasus negotiations arriving this week in South Caucasus to discuss U.S. support for peace process

Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations Lou Bono, who is also the US cochairman of the OSCE Minsk group is traveling to the South Caucasus this week to discuss U.S. support for the peace process (between Armenia and Azerbaijan), US State Department spokesman Mathew Miler told an August 2 press briefing.
YEREVAN, August 2. /ARKA/. Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations Lou Bono, who is also the US cochairman of the OSCE Minsk group is traveling to the South Caucasus this week to discuss U.S. support for the peace process (between Armenia and Azerbaijan), US State Department spokesman Mathew Miler told an August 2 press briefing.
Miller said also that the United States believes that a peace agreement is within reach.
'It’s why we continue to engage both at the senior most levels of this department and at subcabinet levels with leaders in Armenia and Azerbaijan to urge them to reach the difficult compromises that are necessary to reach a full peace agreement,' he said. -0-
