TRIPP project aims to integrate Armenia's transport routes into the Eurasian space – Armen Grigoryan
YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. The goal of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project is to build connections not only between Armenia and Azerbaijan, but also with other CIS countries, ensuring the integration of Armenian transport routes into broader networks, including the Eurasian space, stated RA Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan.

"This opens up new opportunities for trade, logistics, and the movement of people, promoting stronger interdependence, which, in turn, is an important factor in ensuring security," he said at the 13th meeting of CIS Security Council Secretaries. Noting that TRIPP is unique in its scale and significance, Grigoryan explained that it aims to create conditions in which transport and communication routes will be used not as instruments of competition, but as an environment for cooperation and mutual prosperity.

According to the Security Council Secretary, one of the most important components of this process is the unblocking of transport and communication routes, which is not simply an infrastructure issue, but a strategic step towards ensuring stable and long-term security.

"This is especially important, as Armenia and neighboring countries possess great development potential, and unblocking communication channels allows us to achieve more than simply improving transport links," he emphasized.

Grigoryan also noted that one of the most important factors in this new phase is the engagement of all parties.

The agreement on the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project was reached between the leaders of Armenia, the United States, and Azerbaijan and was enshrined in a trilateral declaration signed in Washington on August 8.
