YEREVAN, March 3. /ARKA/. Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Alen Simonyan believes that the situation in the Middle East does not pose a threat to the implementation of the TRIPP (Trump Route) project.

"We think that the situation (regarding Iran) will be resolved as soon as possible. This is happening directly with our neighbor, and this cannot but concern us," Simonyan said at a briefing on Tuesday.

According to him, the current events are not directly related to Armenia and, in his opinion, will not affect its interests.

"It is very gratifying that for the first time in history, we see military action in the North and East, and against this backdrop, Armenia, together with Azerbaijan, continues the process of settlement and promotion of peace. I think that history will judge the fact that Armenia was not drawn into these circumstances," the speaker noted.
