Russian, Armenian defense ministers discuss situation in Karabakh
YEREVAN, April 7. /ARKA/. Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and his Armenian counterpart Vagharshak Harutyunyan discussed by phone a set of issues regarding the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
"On Wednesday, Defense Minister of the Russian Federation Shoigu had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Harutyunyan. The heads of the defense departments discussed the situation related to the settlement in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as other issues of mutual interest," TASS reported.
The phone conversation between the ministers took place ahead of the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Moscow later today. -0-
