Russia-Armenia relations are not experiencing a crisis of trust - Matviyenko

At a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko confirmed Russia's readiness to continue cooperation with Armenia based on mutual respect and friendship.
YEREVAN, June 6. /ARKA/. At a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko confirmed Russia's readiness to continue cooperation with Armenia based on mutual respect and friendship.
"Russia-Armenia relations are not experiencing a crisis of trust. You know, there are common phrases that there is a crisis of trust between Russia and Armenia. I don't have such a feeling. On the contrary, just like us, Armenia has demonstrated its interest in expanding the development of our multifaceted bilateral cooperation," Matviyenko noted, her words are quoted by TASS.
According to her, Pashinyan also assured that there are no problems in the relations between the leaders of the two countries, she added. Matviyenko also conveyed greetings to Pashinyan from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
As reported by the press service of the RA government, in a conversation with the delegation led by Matviyenko, Pashinyan touched upon the current state of Armenian-Russian relations.
The parties exchanged views on a number of issues on the agenda of Armenian-Russian relations, including contacts in the inter-parliamentary format, as well as economic and cultural ties.
