Regional developments are having a positive impact on cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a meeting with a delegation led by Kazakh Foreign Minister Ermek Köşerbaev.

In particular, according to Pashinyan, the established railway connection through Azerbaijan, Russia, and Georgia is giving new impetus to the expansion of trade and economic ties.
The Kazakh Foreign Minister expressed confidence that the established railway connection will significantly expand bilateral trade and economic ties.
He also emphasized the importance of unblocking regional communications and noted Kazakhstan's support for the TRIPP and "Crossroads of Peace" projects of the Armenian government.
Köşerbaev emphasized that Kazakhstan is also interested in implementing these projects and expanding regional trade and economic ties. The interlocutors discussed issues related to developing cooperation in infrastructure, construction, agriculture, technology, air travel, and tourism.
In this regard, the importance of direct flights between Armenia and Kazakhstan, which will commence soon, was emphasized. The interlocutors also emphasized the importance of the upcoming visit of a delegation of Armenian entrepreneurs to Kazakhstan, which will also give new impetus to economic cooperation and the development of business ties.
According to Armstat, foreign trade turnover between Armenia and Kazakhstan in January-February 2026 amounted to $15.2 million, an increase of 28.2% compared to January-February 2025.
