At an expanded meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked his Russian and Azerbaijani presidents.
YEREVAN, December 22. /ARКА/. At an expanded meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked his Russian and Azerbaijani presidents.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Russian President Vladimir Putin for his hospitality and the excellent organization of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council," the Armenian prime minister said at the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting in Saint Petersburg, which opened on Sunday.
He also expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani president for his decision to unblock cargo transit to Armenia through Azerbaijan and create conditions for the start of bilateral trade.
"This is one of the most important achievements in establishing peace and stability in the region," Pashinyan said.
It was previously reported that the Armenian prime minister would be in Russia on a working visit on December 21-22. The program includes participation in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in St. Petersburg and an informal summit of CIS leaders.-0-
