YEREVAN, December 29. /ARKA/. Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan has signed a decree today setting April 2, 2017 as the date of the next elections to the National Assembly (parliament).

They will be the first elections after the adoption of constitutional reforms in 2015, providing for a transition to a parliamentary form of government after the expiry of the term of office of the incumbent president in 2018. -- 0--
