Pashinyan says humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh worsening
YEREVAN, July 6. /ARKA/. The humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh due to the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan is getting worse every day, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said Thursday.
"Nagorno-Karabakh is deprived of the possibility of supplying all kinds of goods. Even Russian peacekeepers have no possibility of supplies because the corridor is completely blocked. It has been several months since the supplies of natural gas and electricity have been stopped," Pashinyan told a government meeting.
According to the prime minister, the Armenian authorities must respond with constant diplomatic work.
"No matter how difficult it is for us: both politically and emotionally, we must not lose our composure," Pashinyan noted. -0-
