Pashinyan: Armenia and Moldova should work to step up cooperation

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received today a delegation led by the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Zinaida Greceanîi, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit, the  press service of the government said.

YEREVAN, February 25. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received today a delegation led by the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Zinaida Greceanîi, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit, the  press service of the government said.

It quoted  Pashinyan as saying that frequent mutual official visits prove that Armenia and Moldova are interested in developing and expanding their relations.

Pashinyan said he will pay an official visit to Moldova, adding also that political relations between the countries are at a high level, and that the parties should work on the development of economic cooperation.

He also emphasized the importance of developing the Armenian-Moldovan inter-parliamentary cooperation, which will contribute not only to political, but also humanitarian and cultural ties.

Zinaida Greceanîi  noted in turn that her country is interested in giving a new impetus to cooperation with Armenia not only in the political, but also in the economic sphere.

She spoke also about economic and legislative changes taking place in Moldova, and thanked the Armenian government for its willingness to share the experience of reforms in the field of justice. -0-
