YEREVAN, June 14. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received today Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, the Armenian government's press service reported.

It quoted Pashinyan as saying that the agenda of Armenian-Russian relations is full and the sides are also working on the implementation of point 9 of the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020.

"As you know, we are interested in unblocking all transport and economic links in the region, based on the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the parties through whose territory these infrastructures would pass. I'm sure we will discuss some aspects today, I'm happy to meet with you," the prime minister said.

Overchuk recalled ‘an informative meeting between the Prime Ministers of Armenia and Russia’ in Sochi late last week, pointing out also the successful development of bilateral cooperation.

Putin and Overchuk spoke also about the outcome of the latest meeting of a working group, chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan to unblock the transport and economic communications in the South Caucasus.

In this context, Pashinyan and Overchuk discussed issues related to the resumption of railway communication between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the implementation of border and customs control based on the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the parties. -0-
