YEREVAN, September 12. /ARКА/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan welcomed today Turkey's Special Representative for the Normalization of Armenian-Turkish Relations Serdar Kilic in Yerevan.

Kilic arrived in Armenia on Friday morning. Upon his arrival at the Margara border checkpoint, he was welcomed by the Armenian envoy for the normalization of relations with Turkey, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan.

During their sixth meeting in Yerevan, Kilic and Rubinyan reaffirmed their previously established intentions to promote the full normalization of relations between the nations. They discussed the implementation of the border crossing agreement that was reached on July 1, 2022.

The special representatives agreed to expedite this process, conduct the necessary technical studies for the restoration and operation of the Gyumri-Kars railway and power transmission lines, and increase the frequency of flights between the two countries.-0-
