Kazakhstan simplifies stay in the country for citizens of Armenia
YEREVAN, September 3. /ARKA/. On Wednesday, the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan approved the agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Armenia regarding cooperation in migration, which streamlines the stay regulations for citizens.
"The duration of stay for citizens of Kazakhstan and Armenia within each other's territories remains unchanged. It is set at 90 days from the moment of crossing the state border and cannot exceed this limit within a six-month period," the TG channel of the Majilis of Kazakhstan states.
Additionally, the agreement specifies that upon the expiration of the designated period, citizens of Armenia will be permitted to remain in Kazakhstan by obtaining a temporary residence permit (for purposes such as work, study, business, family reunification, etc.).
