Iran welcomes Armenia's recognition of Palestine

YEREVAN, June 28. /ARKA/. Iran’s Foreign Ministry welcomed Armenia’s decision to recognize the State of Palestine, crossroads_am reported on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday.

"We welcome the position and actions of the countries of the world to support the legal rights of the Palestinian people," Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani said.

Armenia recognized the State of Palestine on June 21.
