The International Court has prohibited the Government of the Republic of Armenia from taking a number of actions against Electric Networks CJSC.
YEREVAN, July 23. /ARКА/. The International Court has prohibited the Government of the Republic of Armenia from taking a number of actions against Electric Networks CJSC. This was stated by Vice President of Tashir Group of Companies, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ENA Narek Karapetyan.
Earlier, the Defense Council of Samvel Karapetyan issued a statement that Karapetyan and his family won an urgent arbitration case against the Armenian government in the case of nationalization of ENA. The Armenian government stated that the appointment of a temporary manager of ENA does not contradict the decision of the Stockholm Arbitration Court and is aimed at preventing crises and identifying violations.
“The court prohibited the Armenian government from confiscating or selling ENA assets, changing the composition of ENA management bodies, revoking ENA licenses for activities and in any way restricting the company's natural business activities,” Karapetyan wrote on his Facebook page.
He said the decision showed that justice exists.
