Heads of all communities in Armenia are to submit asset declarations

Armenian lawmakers have passed today in the second and final reading amendments to the law On Civil Service, which oblige the heads of all communities across the country to submit asset declarations in a time span from July 1 to October 1, 2020.
YEREVAN, April 15. /ARKA/. Armenian lawmakers have passed today in the second and final reading amendments to the law On Civil Service, which oblige the heads of all communities across the country to submit asset declarations in a time span from July 1 to October 1, 2020.
According to the current legislation, only the heads of communities with a population of more than 15 thousand people are to submit such declarations.
During this period, heads of communities with a population less than 15 thousand people will have to submit declarations for the past year.
There are 915 communities in the territory of the Republic of Armenia, of which 49 are urban and 886 are rural. The capital city Yerevan is divided into 12 administrative districts. -0-
