YEREVAN, May 27. /ARKA/. France is ready to deepen and expand relations with Armenia, including in political and economic areas,, French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot said at a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday.

Barrot emphasized France's unwavering support for Armenia's development and strengthening of its potential, the Armenian government's press service reported.

Pashinyan noted that the relations between the two countries are at a high level. According to him, it is extremely important that the bilateral cooperation in various areas deepens and strengthens.

According to Pashinyan, this was also noted during his recent meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Tirana.

The sides discussed the development of infrastructures, attraction of investments and realization of new joint projects.

The sides exchanged also views on regional processes, including the latest developments on the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Pashinyan once again emphasized the Armenian government's commitment to the peace agenda. -0-
