EU provides Armenia with €270 million under the 2024-2027 resilience and growth plan – Kallas
YEREVAN, June 30. /ARKA/. The European Union is providing Armenia with €270 million under the 2024-2027 resilience and growth plan, said EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas.
“This will provide support to businesses, improve connectivity between the EU and Armenia, and contribute to reform efforts. Our relations are not limited to the economy; housing and social and psychological assistance programs are being implemented for vulnerable groups of the population, including displaced Karabakh Armenians,” she said.
As Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan stated in early November 2024, the 4-year “Resilience and Growth” plan is at the finalization stage, within the framework of which assistance to Armenia in the amount of 270 million euros is envisaged. -0-
