YEREVAN, July 28. /ARKA/. The investment program of the "Electric Networks of Armenia" for 2025 in the center of Yerevan has already been implemented by about 20-30%, said Kamo Areyan, adviser to the mayor of the capital.

"Work has been carried out to strengthen the substations, replace the cables, after which the substations will be repaired," Areyan said at a working meeting of the mayor's office on Monday.

According to him, the program both in the center and throughout the capital continues in the volume that was discussed and approved at the beginning of the year.

"No interruptions in work were noticed, there are no deviations in the program," Areyan said.

Earlier, the ENA announced plans to invest about 6.7 billion drams in a program to modernize the power supply network in the center of Yerevan over the course of 2-3 years. As a result, 145 thousand subscribers will be provided with uninterrupted power supply, of which 5 thousand are public.

The press secretary of the capital's administration, Hayk Kostanyan, assured that periodic power outages in the center of Yerevan will soon cease, a large-scale program to modernize the network is being implemented, which covers 111 central streets.
