YEREVAN, March 24. /ARKA/. Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC has repaid all its loan obligations to a local bank ahead of schedule, totaling approximately $9 million, without raising additional funds, announced the company's interim manager, Romanos Petrosyan.

"ENA's financial liabilities at the time the administrative proceedings were initiated amounted to approximately $397 million. Currently, they amount to approximately $350 million," Petrosyan wrote on Facebook.

He stated that during the eight months of interim management, in addition to ensuring the company's normal operations, ENA, using its own funds exclusively, repaid its financial obligations ahead of schedule, totaling more than $47 million in equivalent.

Romanos Petrosyan has been acting as the interim manager of ENA since July 18, 2025, in accordance with the decision of the Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia. The Armenian authorities intend to nationalize ENA, recognizing the company as a priority public interest company and paying compensation to its owner, the Tashir Group holding company. To this end, parliament adopted corresponding amendments to the laws of the Republic of Armenia "On Energy" and "On the Public Services Regulatory Authority."
