YEREVAN, September 19. /ARКА/. By the decree issued by the President of Armenia, Edgar Hunanyan has been dismissed from his role as Commander of the Border Troops of the National Security Service of Armenia.

The president enacted the relevant decree following the recommendation of the Prime Minister, in accordance with Part 1 of Article 133 of the Constitution, as well as Part 1 of Article 4.1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On Border Troops," as stated on the presidential website.

Edgar Hunanyan was appointed as Commander of the Border Troops of the National Security Service in July 2024.-0-
