Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree today to appoint David Tonoyan as minister for emergency situations, the presidential press service reported. Prior to this appointment David Tonoyan served as deputy minister of defense.

The former minister for emergency situations Armen Yeritsyan died last December from a serious illness. His duties were conferred on deputy minister Haykaram Mkhitaryan-0--
