Azerbaijani soldiers use mortars to shell Armenian villages of Karabakh
YEREVAN, March 11. /ARKA/. Azerbaijani armed forces used a mortar to fire shells in the direction of the village of Khnapat in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Karabakh Police reported.
"On March 11, at about 10:20, the Azerbaijani side fired two 120 mm caliber shells in the direction of the village of Khnapat, Askeran region of Artsakh, which fell near the village school. There were no casualties," the Police said.
It also said that Azerbaijani soldiers demand through loudspeakers that residents of the village of Taghavard, Martuni region, leave their village.
According to reports from Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan's army is "actively" using high-caliber mortars and automatic weapons to target Artsakh's rural communities forcing farmers to suspend all types of agricultural work.-0-
