Azerbaijani soldiers shelling several Armenian villages in Nagorno-Karabakh
YEREVAN, March 9. /ARKA/. Azerbaijani armed forces are using firearms of various caliber, including mortars, to shell actively a number of villages in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), the Artsakh prosecutor's office reported.
It said the targeted villages are Khramort and Nakhichevanik in Askeran region and Khnushinak and Karmir Shuka in Martuni region, disrupting all agricultural activities and hindering the free movement of residents.
“Given the current situation, Artsakh law enforcement agencies are taking all possible measures to document the criminal actions of the Azerbaijani side and their consequences,” the report says.
During the day Azerbaijani soldiers demand through loudspeakers that the local Armenian population of the village of Khramort “leave the territory” threatening otherwise to “use force” Khramort.
Over the past two days, Azerbaijan has regularly violated the ceasefire in the direction of the Khramort village of the Askeran region of Artsakh. -0-
