YEREVAN, June 14. /ARKA/. Two foreigners were wounded after Azerbaijani troops opened fire at an Armenian-American steel plant under construction in Yeraskh, a village located on the border with Azerbaijani exclave Nakhichevan, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.

It said the shelling occurred fifteen minutes after Azerbaijani Defense Ministry spread false reports claiming that at around 11:30 Armenian armed forces opened fire on Azerbaijani positions across the border.

In reality, at around 11:45, Azerbaijani troops opened fire in the direction of the Yeraskh plant, wounding two foreign nationals, according to the Armenian Defense Ministry.

The incident was condemned by Armenian Foreign Ministry. "Azerbaijan demonstrates open defiance of Armenia's internationally recognized borders, human rights and international law,' it said in a statement.-0-
