YEREVAN, September 20. /ARKA/. Fighting along the line of contact continued with varying intensity, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Ministry reported.

It said Azerbaijani armed forces, firing various weapons, continued positional advancement, hitting civilian infrastructure objects as well. The units of the Defense Army of Karabakh put up stubborn resistance," the report said.

Earlier on Sept. 19, Azerbaijan launched a military operation in Nagorno-Karabakh with the claimed "goal of restoring the constitutional order."

According to the latest information published by the Ombudsman of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, tens of people have been killed and wounded as a result of the hostilities. -0-
