Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) National Security Service (NSS) warned the residents that in a bid to sow panic Azerbaijani special services are spreading fake documents through Facebook alleging that the authorities announced evacuation of Stepanakert residents.

Artsakh NSS warns people against false Azerbaijani reports about evacuation

YEREVAN, January 25. /ARKA/. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) National Security Service (NSS) warned the residents that in a bid to sow panic Azerbaijani special services are spreading fake documents through Facebook alleging that the authorities announced evacuation of Stepanakert residents.

The NSC assured that they have full control over the situation, urging the population not to succumb to false rumors and remain calm.

The NSS said in case of suspicious reports, the residents are advised to report them by visiting its website or call the hotline numbers - 047-94-41-26 and 41-26.

The only road connecting Artsakh and Armenia has been blockaded by Azerbaijan since December 12, 2022. Azerbaijan has also cut off electricty and natural gas supplies from Armenia. Thus, 120,000 people (including 30,000 children and 20,000 elderly) are in a humanitarian crisis. -0-
