Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan has dismissed today Major General Ashot Hakopjanyan as Director of the National Security Service (NSS) replacing him with Major General Ararat Melkumyan.

YEREVAN, January 16. /ARKA/. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan has dismissed today Major General Ashot Hakopjanyan as Director of the National Security Service (NSS) replacing him with Major General Ararat Melkumyan.

Melkumyan had been appointed earlier this month as Secretary of the Security Council replacing Vitaly Balasanyan.

Samvel Shahramanyan, formerly Deputy Secretary of the Security Council, has been picked by Harutyunyan as a replacement for Melkumyan. --0--
