Armenian president congratulates his Russian counterpart on birthday anniversary

In a congratulatory message sent today by Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the latter’s 64th birthday anniversary, Sargsyan expresses confidence that the consistent deepening and enriching of the allied cooperation’s potential between the two countries, based on centuries-old fraternal and friendly relations, enables them to achieve significant results in all areas of the Armenian-Russian cooperation.
YEREVAN, October 7. /ARKA/. In a congratulatory message sent today by Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the latter’s 64th birthday anniversary, Sargsyan expresses confidence that the consistent deepening and enriching of the allied cooperation’s potential between the two countries, based on centuries-old fraternal and friendly relations, enables them to achieve significant results in all areas of the Armenian-Russian cooperation.
"Thanks to your personal contribution very important intergovernmental agreements on strategic programs, including in economic, military-technical, investment, humanitarian and other fields are being put into practice ", Sargsyan’s message says.
Sargsyan also expresses confidence that active and effective political dialogue and regular meetings will continue to play an important role in the dynamic development of the entire complex of the Armenian-Russian cooperation both in bilateral format and within the framework of regional and international organizations.
"The effective work of the Eurasian Economic Union, the adaptation of the Commonwealth of Independent States, joint efforts for the development of the Collective Security Treaty Organization create new conditions for further development of our allied relations for the benefit of our peoples, regional stability and security", - says Sargsyan. -0-
