Armenian PM stresses deepening of relations with Russia

Armenia’s prime minister Karen Karapetyan had a telephone conversation today with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev and congratulated the latter on his birthday, the press service of the Armenian government said.
YEREVAN, September 14. /ARKA/. Armenia’s prime minister Karen Karapetyan had a telephone conversation today with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev and congratulated the latter on his birthday, the press service of the Armenian government said.
Karapetyan was said to have assessed highly the personal contribution by Medvedev to the development of allied relations between Armenia and Russia.
Karapetyan stressed also the importance of active cooperation between the two governments and deepening of bilateral economic and trade relations both in bilateral and multilateral formats, including within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Karapetyan thanked Medvedev for the latter’s congratulations on his appointment as prime minister of Armenia. -0-
