Armenian government embarking on legislative changes for constitutional reforms

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on Wednesday ordering legislative preparations for implementation of constitutional reforms, the president’s press office reports.
YEREVAN, February 11. /ARKA/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on Wednesday ordering legislative preparations for implementation of constitutional reforms, the president’s press office reports.
The laws subject to adoption or amendment are listed in the decree.
The president instructed the government to develop the listed bills to submit them to the National Assembly for approval. A professional group was set up for that.
The group is made up of the chairman of the Constitutional Court, the minister head of the government’s administration, the head of the National Assembly’s administration, the prosecutor general, the president’s assistant, the chief of the high-ranking officials ethics commission, the head of the juridical division of the president’s administration, the chairman of the Association of Lawyers of Armenia, the head of the Constitutional Law Center and one of the authors of constitutional reforms. --0-----
