The Armenian government has relieved today Hovhannes Harutyunyan of his post as governor of the Shirak province.
YEREVAN, November 4. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has relieved today Hovhannes Harutyunyan of his post as governor of the Shirak province.
Harutyunyan had been appointed as governor on January 21 after the resignation of then head of the region, Tigran Petrosyan. Prior to that, he had served as Deputy Minister of Health.
According to Armenian mass media reports, the job is likely to be given to Nazeli Baghdasaryan, secretary of the Civil Contract parliamentary majority faction, who filed a resignation letter on October 29. - 0--
