YEREVAN, September 7. /ARKA/. The Armenian government at a meeting on Thursday approved the allocation of 17 million pounds sterling for the purchase of an embassy building in London, UK.
According to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, no self-respecting country would keep its embassy in a building in which the Armenian embassy in the UK now operates.
"With the exception of one or two cases, I have never seen an Armenian embassy anywhere that I could look at and say, 'This is the Armenian embassy!' It is necessary to accept this reality and consistently solve the issues," he said at a government session. --0--
