Armenian and Kazakh leaders discuss Eurasian economic union’s activity

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Kazakh President Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev discussed today the expansion of Eurasian Economic Union’s (EEU) foreign trade relations during a telephone conversation, the press service of the Armenian government reported.

YEREVAN, July 2. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Kazakh President Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev discussed today the expansion of Eurasian Economic Union’s (EEU) foreign trade relations during a telephone conversation, the press service of the Armenian government reported.

It said during the conversation, Pashinyan, as head of the country chairing currently the EEU, discussed with the President of Kazakhstan the activities of the EEU, as well as issues related to the October 1 summit of the Eurasian Economic Union to be held in Armenia.

The parties also discussed EEU’s  agenda for expanding  external relations. In this context, the parties touched upon the expansion of EEU’s external relations, including the prospects for signing a free trade agreement between the EEU and Singapore. -0-
