Armenia to appoint military attaches to Czech Republic and Kyrgyzstan
YEREVAN, January 25. /ARKA/. Armenia will appoint military attaches to the Czech Republic and Kyrgyzstan. A decision to that end was approved today by the Cabinet.
The government said the military attaché in the Czech Republic will help reveal the potential of military cooperation that exists between Yerevan and Prague.
The Czech side has also shown great interest in deepening bilateral cooperation. The post of military attaché in the Czech Republic will be combined with the post of military attaché at the Armenian Embassy in Germany.
As for Kyrgyzstan, the government pointed out that cooperation between the two countries is carried out mainly within the framework of the CSTO, EEU and CIS. However, both countries have significant potential and prospects for further development of relations in the defense and military-technical spheres.
The presence of the military attaché in Kyrgyzstan will contribute to the development of cooperation in the defense sphere and will give a new impetus to the implementation of joint measures in this area.
It will also ensure the elevation of Armenian-Kyrgyz relations to a higher level of partnership in the defense sphere. --0--
