Armenia suggests signing framework peace agreement with Azerbaijan- Pashinyan

YEREVAN, November 16. /ARKA/. Armenia suggested signing a framework peace agreement with Azerbaijan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said today in parliament.

"Regarding the peace treaty with Azerbaijan, there are two approaches - a detailed agreement and the so-called framework agreement. The latter is an agreement without many specifics. Experience shows that if we try to solve issues in detail, we may encounter difficulties. That is the reason why Armenia suggested signing a framework agreement," he said.

Pashinyan said that signing framework agreements is an accepted practice and 'we should strive to follow that path.'

Earlier, Pashinyan said he wanted to conclude a peace agreement with Azerbaijan by the end of this year and hoped that border delimitation would be completed before signing it. -0-
